The traditional Indian medicine

The traditional Indian medicine (Ayurveda) is a medical system that was born in ancient India and is still practiced there together with a formal, modern Western medicine. Its derivatives (eg, Tibetan medicine) are practiced in Tibet, Buryatia, Mongolia. Sometimes it is said that Ayurveda is a traditional medicine in India. The difference between the medical system of traditional medicine and Ayurveda is that traditional medicine has a certain number of prescriptions for a certain number of cases. Medical system has its own view of the origin and development of disease and appropriate treatments.

Ayurveda considers the human as a set of defined parameters. If we look at it from the standpoint of classical texts - it may seem somewhat far-fetched. There are "hot" and "cold", "fire" and "water" doshes. There are such terms as "disaster". If they are viewed in isolation from that time and place where they occur, they may seem naive to the religious delusions. Although, when scientists began to investigate this, we found that all have very strict physiological justification. In western medicine it is the regulatory system of the body. There is nervous and hormonal regulation. In fact, they correspond to the same doshes. There are "hot" and "cold" and they correspond to energotropic / trofotropic states in western medicine. Man is regarded as a combination of these things: the ratio of "heat" / "cold", the ratio of the doshes, the characteristics of the organs. They form a person as an individual. Ayurveda studies the man. It looks, what is the nature of the defects which are allowed in his establishment. And it is trying to remove these defects from his or her regulation of lifestyle, diet, use of certain procedures and medications. It leads a person into a state of equilibrium. That is, in fact, a compensation for that imbalance, that everyone has. It is compensating for a long time and comprehensively. Not by a single method, by different methods rather than in any other health care systems, and comprehensive recommendations. For example, a way of life he or she must lead, must sleep for a long time or get up early, should eat more animal food or vegetable, what medicines he or she need, and what are harmful for him or her. This is what Ayurveda.

Ayurveda, The traditional Indian medicine system helps the person to find harmony of his body and soul, to live happily together with people surrounding him and to protect his health from all of the problems.
